Vivian Alarcón

Vivian Alarcón (Barcelona, 1995) graduated in fashion design. Her creative exploration goes from painting, to clay, silver, and currently, glass craftsmanship, which she fell in love with at first sight.

This prompted her to develop a deep connection with this unique material by using tools, gravity, and temperatures. What captivates this young artist most is the meditative state she achieves while working and what she can reflect on every piece. As she notes, fire demands presence, patience, and acceptance of each piece's unique nuances.

Guided by her motto,"if an idea isn't fun enough, it's out", Vivian creates her artistic pieces with the will to evoke your most cherished childhood memories —infusing them with emotional resonance through simple elements like a piece of candy. These elements remind us of celebrations, happy times, laughter, and long after-lunch conversations with friends and family. With a sense of humor, her work connects with timeless emotions, bringing a touch of joy and nostalgia to everyday life.

Vivian has cultivated a delicate, playful, kitschy distinctive style that makes her work recognisable.
