Alberto Lista (A Coruña, 1993) is the youngest Oleiro (potter) in Buño, a town in Galicia with a documented pottery tradition since the 16th century, where the neighbours have been passing on the secrets of the craft from generation to generation to the present day. Alberto followed in his fathers footsteps and has added, to that handed-down knowledge, a training in sculpture at the Pablo Picasso Higher School of Design to balance in his pieces the popular wisdom of the trade and the passion to innovate with new materials and tools.
