Agustí González (Mallorca, 1988) trained as a scientist and discovered ceramics by chance. As a kind of therapy. In just a few years, a driving need to explore materials and give shape to his artistic vision led him to open his own workshop and create his brand, FOCATER, a project in progress where the emphasis is on self–teaching to seek and find his own artistic expression through clay and glazes. Agustí's works are not born with a clearly defined aesthetic, they grow from intuition and research into the potential of his materials. In just a few years, FOCATER has participated in several exhibitions and art fairs in Mallorca and more recently in collective exhibitions in Manacor (Sala Maüs, September 2023), Barcelona (Estratos, Limbo Project; October 2023) and Madrid (Espacio Tiempo, December 2023).
