Technique used:
This piece was handbuilt and sculpted. Starting from modelling the form using recycled elements such as water bottles, a structures was built where clay was attached to its walls to generate this lung type form. Once the clay was drier, carving ans sculpting took place in order to make this cavities and “alveolus” one by one. The glaze is product of experimentation and seeks to resemble a foamy type of rock. Fired in an electric kiln at 1245ºC.

Hand wash with water and let dry.
